Two employees at the Bern site are celebrating many years with Timbatec. Nadja Zahnd has been with the company for 10 years and site manager Lukas Rüegsegger for an incredible 20 years. Our Lucerne site manager, Silvan Winterberg, BSc wood construction engineer and project manager, is celebrating his anniversary. Cleverly designed, sustainably built. Last spring, the new pavilion in Uster town park was erected by the professionals from Holzbau Oberholzer, Eschenbach. Within a short space of time, the timber construction design conceived by Winfried Schneider has become Uster's meeting zone.

Stefan Rüegg takes over as Head of the Zurich office from Andreas Burgherr. Silvan Winterberg, who has headed the Lucerne office since May 2024, has been succeeded by Simon Hess as Head of the Zurich office.

The Zurich Bus Station operations building, designed by Holzhausen Zweifel Architekten, Zurich, is a symbolic example of future-oriented, sustainable architecture. It meets both functional and aesthetic requirements and impresses with its simple timber construction.

Timber construction continues to conquer the construction world in leaps and bounds. We are pleased about this - and together with us, the climate is pleased. The versatility and innovative properties of wood are impressive and its use in the building program supports a possible path to climate neutrality.

The «Pro Elsau Foundation» built a mixed-age residential development with nine terraced single-family homes, 31 apartments, underground parking and visitor parking. The offer is complemented by cultural and health programs that create a unique living experience in HOFWIS.

The team from Timbatec Vienna volunteered to build a weather shelter for the non-profit organization «Train of Hope» and «House of Hope». Great commitment for a good cause.

The new office premises at the Lucerne site were officially opened together with customers and business partners. Many interested participants accepted the invitation to gain an insight into Timbatec Lucerne's office infrastructure.

Three elongated school buildings and a striking central building with a double gymnasium and attached head building together form the school ensemble of the «Nägelimoos project» in Kloten. Impressive spruce/beech trusses set architectural accents as a gymnasium ceiling construction. Timber construction of superlatives.

Bob Gysin Partner (BGP) and Mierta and Kurt Lazzarini Architects win the competition team for the design of the Du Lac residential building in St. Moritz. Timbatec contributes its expertise in timber construction, fire protection, statics and construction.

Good timber architecture is valuable. That is why we support the Prix Lignum. It recognizes the innovative, high-quality and forward-looking use of wood in buildings. With a total of 583 entries, the field of participants is broad and high-caliber.

The Generationenhaus Langnau wins an award at the Prix Lignum 2024 in the Central Region. The competition, which has a nationwide reach and represents the multifaceted nature of the timber (construction) industry, takes place every three years. The prize recognizes the innovative and forward-looking use of wood in buildings.

Together with customers and business partners, the teams from Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Schweiz rocked the roof terrace at Falkenplatz 1 in Bern. The reason for the celebrations was the 10th anniversary of the Bern office.

Timbatec meets Architecture Days: Among the many events on offer, the team from the Vienna office decided to visit Seestadt Aspern and take part in the city walk.

The Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy has granted Timbatec Holzbauingenieure ZT GmbH the authority to act as an engineering consultant for civil engineering. In accordance with the ordinance of 01.01.2022, Timbatec Holzbauingenieure ZT GmbH will use the superordinate professional title «Ingenieurkonsulent für Bauwesen» in its business dealings (details in the link below).

Timbatec is expanding its local presence in Central Switzerland with an additional new office location at Alpenquai 28A in Lucerne. The aim is to be able to support and accompany customers and projects even more closely. Our teams will be on site from Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Welcome Lucerne.

From 2022 to 2027, the Wiesental school in Baar will be replaced by four new buildings. The east building is currently being realized. A triple gymnasium is being built in the middle of two flanking head buildings, over which an imposing, two-storey truss will span as a supporting structure.

Insights into ergonomics and health promotion at the computer workstation as well as a tour of Saldome 2, the wooden dome salt storage building at Schweizer Salinen AG in Möhlin, were the highlights of Timbatec Holzbauingenieure Schweiz AG's team day, edition 2 in 2024.

Four new colleagues - Manon Scheidegger, Kelly Allemann, Fabian Schlatter and Lukas Weiss - have started their internship year at Timbatec in recent weeks.

With the «Lysbüchel» site development, Immobilien Basel-Stadt is gradually transforming the former industrial area into a lively district of Basel on a 26,000 m² site by means of various construction measures.
