Congratulations and a big thank you for 10 years of loyalty to the company. Our site manager in Vienna, Tamir Pixner, celebrates his company anniversary. Colleagues from Timbatec in Austria and Switzerland thank him for his cooperation.
Renowned timber construction engineering office established in Vienna
Together with Stefan Zöllig, Tamir founded Timbatec Holzbauingenieurbüro in Vienna 10 years ago and started the entrepreneurial activities as part managing director. Tamir began his professional career as a draughtsman and technician in architectural and planning offices. He then worked for several years at the Institute for Structural Design (ITI) at Vienna University of Technology as a project and university assistant. Tamir studied civil engineering at the Vienna University of Technology and completed his timber construction know-how with a master's degree in «Urban Wood» at the Vienna University of Technology.
After an ambitious start, the team has now grown to a total of six employees. Tamir is responsible for managing the Vienna site and is a member of the management team. In addition to the disciplines of Timbatec's core competencies (structural analysis and design, building physics and fire protection), Tamir is involved in product development and research activities, gives lectures and contributes his knowledge to specialist advisory boards and expert activities. In 2023, he completed the state examination procedure to become a civil engineer. As an engineering consultant for civil engineering, he is authorized to independently plan, submit and supervise construction projects in his field of expertise.
